Without You is a song by French DJ and producer David Guetta, he recorded together with the American singer Usher. The song was officially released on 27 September 2011 as the third single from Guetta's fifth studio album Nothing but the Beat. It was produced by Guetta song, as well as the music producer Giorgio Tuinfort, Frédéric Riesterer and Black Raw.
Background
Usher wanted to first of all that the song is produced as the title of his album. Guetta rejects this, however. Guetta said before the release of his song against the music magazine Billboard that this was the best song he has ever produced, could be. Compared with MTV News Guetta said that he wanted to record with Usher Without You, because he was known for his successful ballads. Usher said of the song, that, because in the song the various genres like R & B, pop, house, and electronic music are combined, the song is what music really is.
Music Video
The video for Without You was taken on a beach in Portugal. The video shows, among other clips from several parties in Thailand, the U.S., Brazil and South Africa. At the end of the video the continents merge, the parties are merged into a big party. The official premiere of the video took place on 14 October 2011.
