Wizard-of-Oz-Experiment

As a Wizard-of -Oz experiment, an experiment is referred to in the man-machine communication in which a man accepts ( volunteer) to communicate with an autonomous (in the sense of artificial intelligence ) system, but in reality a different person in secretly generates the reactions of the system.

Such experiments are performed in order to collect possible reactions of potential users of a system is being developed only. This may be for example, a dialogue system that should be used in a domain for which there is no empirical data.
