Wizzard

Wizzard was in the 1970s, the band of Roy Wood, after he had left the Electric Light Orchestra. Other musicians were Bill Hunt, Hugh McDowell, Rick Price, Charlie Grima, Nick Pentelow, Keith Smart, Mike Burney, Bob Brady - all multi- instrumentalists like Roy Wood, including cellists, brass and two percussionists. The musical style was somewhere between big band and rock ' n ' roll. General Wizzard is attributed to the Glam Rock.

The group existed from 1972 to about 1976 and 1973 had number - one hits ( " See my Baby Jive ", " Angel Fingers" ) in the British charts as well as a number of other top ten hits.

Wizzard released three albums: Wizzard Brew (1973, with Alan Parsons at the mixer ), Introducing Eddy and the Falcons (1974) and Main Street ( 2000/aufgenommen 1976).

In recent times, yet there appeared a " Best of " album "Singles A 's and B's " which also contains rare single B-side of the group.
