Wlamir Marques

Wlamir Marques ( * July 16, 1937 in São Vicente) is a Brazilian former basketball player. He is together with Kresimir Cosic of the most successful participants to Basketball World Championships with two gold and silver medals. He also took part in Brazil for four Olympic Games, winning two bronze medals (1960, 1964).

After his playing career, Marques was a professor of physical education at the Faculdade de Educação Física de Santo André ( FEFISA ) and worked as a television commentator for ESPN Brasil.
