Before the end of World War II were New Flinkow and Neumühl districts of the village Flinkow. Both districts were in the southeastern district of Flinkow outside the village center.

New Flinkow belonged to the end of World War II the district of Stolp in the administrative region of Pomerania Pomerania.

Towards the end of World War II Flinkow was occupied on 8 March 1945 by the Red Army and then put together with all Pomerania under Polish administration. Flinkow received the new Polish place names Włynkowo, and the district was renamed New Flinkow Włynkówko. In September and October 1945 Poland took the village in possession and forced the peasants from their villages, often at night. The inhabitants were deported to the west.
