Wohldorf is a district of the town Bernburg (Saale ) in a salt land district, in Saxony -Anhalt.

Geography

Wohldorf is located about 10 km southeast of the county town Bernburg (Saale ). The Great Vienna Teich is the largest lake in the area of the former district of Bernburg. For the former municipality belonged to the district Crüchern.

Culture

History

The place was first mentioned in the year 986.

The community welfare village belonged from 1 January 2005, the administrative community Nienburg ( Saale). On 1 January 2010, until then independent municipality was incorporated together with the communities Baalberge, Bien village, Gröna, Peißen, Poley and Preußlitz into town Bernburg (Saale ).
