Influences

The main influences of Wolf Parade are also originally from Montreal band The Arcade Fire and Modest Mouse, whose producer Chris Chandler with Isaac Brock recorded their debut album. Wolf Parade are compared often with the New York band Clap Your Hands Say Yeah. The influences of David Bowie can be partially hear. Especially Spencer Krug's songwriting often offers space for more tilted sounds like Modest Mouse, whereas Dan Boeckner rather straightforward rock songs writes.
