Wolfersdorf

Wolfersdorf is a community in the Upper Bavarian district of Freising and a member of the administrative community Zolling.

Geography

The municipality is located north of the Amper valley in Hallertauer hills.

Community members are Alsdorf, Baden Village, Mountain Haselbach, billing village, Heigenhausen, Hunters Village, Cold Mountain, box Mayrhofen, Upper Haindlfing, Ruhpalzing, Seel, Sörzen, Thonhausen, sub Haindlfing, Wölfing and to Prince.

History

The first mention is about the year 948, the districts of Baden village and mountain Haselbach be mentioned 748. Wolfersdorf was the seat of an open Hofmark and belonged to Rentamt Landshut and Moosburg district court. The local noble family of Wolfersdorfer is detectable in the 14th and the first third of the 15th century as the owner of Hofmark Wolfersdorf. Later the Counts in Lodron on Wolfersdorf ( 1778-1830 ) Owner of the Hofmark. The place was in the course of administrative reform in Bavaria in 1818 an independent political community with a patrimonial II class. The Wolfersdorfer castle was canceled in 1834. The last remnants of feudalism were abolished in 1848.

Incorporations

As part of the municipal reform the previously independent municipalities mountain Haselbach were incorporated on 1 January 1977 and Dürnhaindlfing in the community Wolfersdorf on 1 May 1978.

Policy

Coat of arms

The coat of arms in gold shows a green vine with leaf hops and three hops, before a leaping rotbewehrter black wolf. The wolf is on the seal of William of Wolffersdorff back (* 1340, † 1403 ). The three hops indicate the cultivation of hops in the community and to the three formerly independent communities of mountain Haselbach, Dürnhaindlfing and Wolfersdorf.
