Wolfert VI of Borselen
Wolfhart VI. of Borsselen († April 29, 1487 in Ghent ) was Marshal of France. He was the son of Henry II of Borsselen († 1474 ) and Joan of Halewyn.
In 1464 he is mentioned as a Marshal of France, but left behind in this function, no major mark in history. In 1468 he was lord of Veere, Zandenburg, Vlissingen, Domburg, West Chapel and Brouwer Haven, Earl of Grandpré, Earl of Buchan ( as a son of the Scottish king James I ). In 1478 he became a member of the Order of the Golden Fleece.
He married his first wife in 1444 Zandenburg Mary Stuart († March 20, 1465 ), Countess of Buchan, daughter of the Scottish king, James I, buried in Veere. From this marriage he had a son, Charles, * 1451, † 13 years old in Leuven.
His second wife he married ( marriage contract dated June 17, 1468 ) Charlotte de Bourbon ( * probably in 1449, † March 18, 1478 ), daughter of Louis III. , Count of Montpensier. From this marriage he had five children:

Wolfhart VI. of Borsselen was buried in Zandenburg. He was the last legitimate male representative of the family Borsselen.
