Wolfgang Bochow

Wolfgang Bochow ( born May 26, 1944) is a former German badminton player. He belongs to the internationally most successful German players ever. In 1968, he won the European vice- champion in men's singles, the 1972 runner-up in the mixed doubles. In the latter year he celebrated after winning the men's singles title at the European Championships his greatest international success. Together with Jamie Paulson, he finished at the 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich in the men's doubles 5th place in the individual where he won bronze.

Today, he is married to Stefanie Bochow ( former tennis player Bundesliga ) and lives in Rösrath - Kleineichen near Cologne.
