Wolfgang Drobetz

Wolfgang Drobetz ( born February 26, 1971 in Vienna) is an Austrian economist. He is a member of the Editorial Board of the scientific journal Financial Markets and Portfolio Management.

Biography

Drobetz studied business administration at the Vienna University of Economics and graduated in 1995 with a master's from. He then studied at the University of Virginia and graduated in 1996 with a Master of Arts in Economics from. 1997 highlighted Drobetz a doctoral degree in economics at the University of St. Gallen. His doctoral thesis dealt with the issue of global stock markets: Time -varying expected returns, consumption, and the business cycle and earned him the title of Doctor one with highest honors.

Since 2006 Wolfgang Drobetz holds the Chair corporate and shipping finance at the University of Hamburg.
