Wolfgang Grobe

Wolfgang Grobe ( born June 25, 1956, Brunswick ) is a retired German football player.

Career

Wolfgang Grobe belonged from 1976 to 1982 the Bundesliga squad of Eintracht Braunschweig. From 1976 to 1980 and 1981/82, he was a defender, in 1980/81 used in the second division as a midfielder. At his Bundesliga debut on 13 November 1976 ( 13 Matchday) in a 1-1 away draw against VfL Bochum, he scored the opening goal in the 31st minute with his first goal. After four years in the Bundesliga affiliation he rose with his club down, after a year of abstinence directly back on. After another season in the upper house ( total of 127 games and 18 goals), he joined the 1982/83 season to Bayern Munich, where his former teammates from Braunschweig Paul Breitner was team captain.

Grobe came with his new employers in the first season in all league games for use. He belonged to the squad to 1986, played his last league game but already on 17 November 1984 ( 14th Round ) in the 0-3 defeat in the away match against Bayer 04 Leverkusen, where he was replaced for the second half for Ludwig Kögl. Common injuries were more games not to. In 58 league games, he came to Bayern Munich for use where access ten goals to him.

In the 1990/91 season he coached the Oberliga Wolfenbütteler SV and from March to October 1992 Oberliga side 1 FC Magdeburg.

Currently Rough works as a scout for FC Bayern Munich.
