Wolfgang Lakenmacher

Wolfgang Lakenmacher ( born October 8, 1943 in Neuenhofe ) is a former German handball player and coach.

Lakenmacher played at his time from 1967 to 1977 for the SC Magdeburg and was with the club in 1970 and 1977 DDR champion. For the East German national team of the circle runner played a total of 198 times. 1970 and 1974 Lakenmacher was runner-up with the East German national team at the Olympic Games in 1972, the team finished fourth.

After his career as a player Lakenmacher became a coach and trained among other TV Großwallstadt. His son Sven was also handball player.
