Wolfgang Popp

Wolfgang Popp ( born May 19, 1959 in Frankfurt am Main ) is a former German tennis player, sports manager and photographic artist.

Training

Abitur at the Bettina School in Frankfurt am Main in 1978, the armed forces, Army and Air Force, basic study biology at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University Frankfurt am Main.

Life

Wolfgang Popp won several German youth championship titles (1976, 1977) and 1976 European junior champion. In 1983, he was first in a dramatic five - set match against Karl Meiler, another national title he won in 1988 German Masters. 1980, he was first with Jürgen Fassbender German double champion in the hall.
