Wolfgang Staudinger

Wolfgang Staudinger ( born September 8, 1963 in Berchtesgaden ) is a former German luger and current coach.

Wolfgang Staudinger began his career in 1978 and at the beginning of the 1980s he formed a successful duo with John Schettel. In 1983 she won the German championship title. After Staudinger joined the partner and formed with Thomas Schwab is one of the most successful luge doubles the 1980s. Their greatest success was winning the bronze medal at the Olympic Winter Games in Calgary in 1988. In the same year both were European champions in the doubles and with the team in Koenigssee.
