The Wolfsteiner Ohe when Carbidwerk Freyung

The Wolfsteiner Ohe is a left tributary of the Ilz. It rises in the Bavarian Forest, Freyung -Grafenau, in the border region with the Czech Republic and Upper Austria. From here it flows coming in Fuersteneck in the Ilz. In Freyung to Saußbach and Reschbach unite. This section of the Wolfsteiner Ohe is called Buchberger Leite and is provided here since 1961 under nature protection.

On shared sections of the river from March through May is used for kayaking.
