The Wollbach is an over 8 km long southern Black Forest stream in southwestern Baden -Wuerttemberg, the left and east ends at Kandern - Wollbach in the district of Lörrach in the Kander. Its official right upper reaches ie Rehgraben.

Geography

Course

The Wollbach arises as Rehgraben on Sandelkopf, about 3 km east of the center of the eponymous main town of the municipality Kandern. It flows soon after the union of its two headwaters Rehgraben (right) and bear pit (left) on glass farm community over, much further down the valley then through their places Nebenau and Wollbach, where he quickly in succession valley road L crosses under 134 of the Kander Valley and the local museum railway. Still on the edge of the soft image of this same place he then opens after a run of 8.3 miles from the Rehgrabenquelle from the left and east into the Kander.

Catchment area

The Wollbach runs with variations in the southwest by the municipality of Kandern, he has a bed slope of about 45 ‰ and a catchment area of 13.0 km ², which is wooded for the most part. To its west and north borders on the Kander itself, it is almost everywhere direct competitor here, just to the northwest on a small piece of their Kanderner left tributary Red trench. Beyond the eastern and south-eastern watershed takes the meadow direct competitors, namely one after the stone creek from which the inflow competes Aubächle, then the Heilisaubach, the Sormattbach and the black trench.
