Wolschwiller
Wolschwiller ( German Wolschweiler ) is a commune with 471 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Haut-Rhin in Alsace. The place is located in the canton in the Arrondissement Ferrette Altkirch.
Geography
The community Wolschwiller in the extreme south of the Alsace region lies at the foot of the Jura mountains on the border with Switzerland, 20 kilometers southeast of the city center of Basel.
South-east of the village center starts the Börse ditch, called in Swiss territory Birsig. Another waters is the Pfaff creek that flows north. Wolschwiller bordered to the north Oltingue, to the east by Biederthal and castle in Leimental ( Switzerland ), to the south Huggerwald ( Switzerland ), on the southwest by Kiffis and to the west by Lutter.
