Wolsdorf
Wolsdorf is a municipality in the district of Helmstedt in Lower Saxony.
Geography
Wolsdorf located in the Natural Park Elm Lappwald. The community belongs to the Samtgemeinde North Elm, which has its headquarters in the town of Süpplingen.
History
In 1182 was the first documentary mention of the community.

Wolsdorf lies west of the federal highway 244 which leads from Helmstedt to Wernigerode.
Religions
The Evangelical Lutheran St. John's Church is located on the road to Frellstedt near the end of the village, in Frellstedt is also the competent parish. The church belongs to the provost king Lutter.
The Roman Catholic St. Joseph 's Church was built in 1914 and is located on the western edge. First, a branch church of St. Boniface Church in Süpplingen, it now belongs to the parish of St. Ludgeri in Helmstedt.
