History

The Wolseley Sheep Sheering Machine Company Ltd.. was founded by the Irish Frederick York Wolseley in Sydney, Australia, 1887. It was the first company to manufacture a mechanical sheep shearing machine. 1889 Wolseley had the patents a new company, which had its headquarters in London.
