Wonder Man (film)

The Miracle Man is an American movie from 1945 with Danny Kaye and Virginia Mayo in the lead roles. The film is based on a short story by Arthur Sheekman and was under the title My magical brother aired on television.

Action

Danny Kaye plays a dual role of identical twins with large superficial similarity, but with completely different personalities. Buster Dingle appears under the name " Buzzy Bellew " in a loud and silly manner at the nightclub " Pelican Club " while Edwin Dingle works as a quiet fellow in a history book. The two brothers have not seen each other for years. Buster witnesses a murder, the charge of the Mafia Boss "Ten Grand " Jackson, and then he himself murdered. He returns as a ghost and contacted his brother to bring justice to those responsible. Consequently, Edwin takes on the role of his brother. He also appears in his place at the nightclub and, assisted by his brother. Buster can be seen or heard by anyone except Edwin. In one scene in the night club Edwin occurs as a famous Russian singer, who suffers from an allergy to flowers. It is situated in a vase on a table beside him, and his song is constantly interrupted by his loud sneeze. Complications arise from the fact that the murdered Buster with the artist Midge Mallon had a relationship while Edwin is attracted to the librarian Ellen Shanley.

At the end marry Edwin Dingle and Ellen Shanley, and Midge Mallon marries the owner of the nightclub where Buster Dingle occurred.

Criticism
