Woodbridge (Ontario)

Woodbridge [ ˌ wʊd bɹɪdʒ ] is a large area ( 2006, about 101 170 inhabitants) of Vaughan, north of Toronto.

Woodbridge was formerly an independent city and merged in 1971 with the surrounding communities to the city. The Altstatdkern is the Woodbridge Ave. between Islington Avenue and Kipling Avenue north of Highway 7 (Ontario). In Woodbridge many Italian immigrants live.
