Workaholics Anonymous

Anonymous Workaholics ( AAS, Eng. Workaholics Anonymous ) are support groups for people who are addicted to work ( workaholics ). The twelve-step program of the AAS was inspired by the Alcoholics Anonymous program.

In 1983, the first self-help group for Workaholics Workaholics Anonymous as in New York was founded. In Germany, the autonomous self-help groups since the early 1990s exist, in 2010 there were 23 sites.

According to the preamble of AAS is the only requirement for participation in the group of the desire to stop compulsive working or non - working. AAS does not charge any membership fees, it gets through our own contributions. Highest bid is anonymity that members do not disclose their identity, participation lists or members card files do not exist.

At regular meetings, the parties have the opportunity to talk about their concerns, and there are no requirements concerning the topics. No one has to say something. The meetings attended only by those affected and not psychologists.
