Worker-communist Party of Iran

The Worker-communist Party of Iran (Persian حزب کمونیست کارگران ایران, shortly API ) is an Iranian exile Communist Party, which is in opposition to the current Iranian government.

Creation and profile

The party was founded in 1991 by Mansoor Hekmat by elimination of the Communist Party of Iran; since his death in 2002, it is led by Hamid Taghwai. 2004 has split by conflicts about the future party tactics, the Worker-communist Party of Iran - Hekmatist under Korusch Modaresi. In 2007 there was a further spin-off, emerged from the Worker-communist Unity Party ( WUP ), headed by Ali Dschavardi. The party and its spin-offs fight for the overthrow of the Islamic Republic of Iran and for the establishment of a " communist republic." You entertain a television station and a radio station.

Activities in Germany

The Worker-communist Party of Iran and its spin-offs are under observation by the Federal Office for Protection of the Constitution.

The Constitutional Protection Report 2011 is based on a total of 250 active members of the three groups, well-known member in Germany is Mina Ahadi, the chairman of the Central Council of Ex-Muslims. All three organizations aspire to as the Protection of the Constitution, a revolution and a communist social system in Iran. The API tries " to address a broad range of interested parties by common themes such as the documentation of the human rights situation in Iran or the demand for the abolition of the death penalty and to portray themselves as remarkable organization. They often makes use of various environment organizations mentioned are the " Central Council of Ex -Muslims eV " ( suspected case ), the " International Committee against Stoning " ( suspected case ) and the " International Campaign for the Defence of Women's Rights in Iran " (suspected case).
