The Workers Stadium (Chinese工人 体育场/工人 体育场, Pinyin gongren tǐyùchǎng ) in Beijing comprises 64,000 spectators. It is located in Chaoyang District and is currently the second largest stadium in Beijing. As part of the preparation for the 2008 Summer Olympics, it was modernized and its capacity of 71 112 reduced to 64,000. It is the largest and most modern football stadium in the People's Republic of China.

Construction began on 31 August 1959. The stadium was built as one of the "Ten large building " ( "十大 建筑" ) in the style of "socialist classicism " for the tenth anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic. In 1990 it was the main venue of the Asian Games. The stadium played up to the remodeling Beijing Guoan, a football club in Beijing. On May 16 and August 19, 2008 per quarter and semi-final game of the Olympic football tournaments were held here.
