Working hypothesis

A working hypothesis in the scientific field to an even more precise assumption, which mostly is provisional and may ( for lack of watertight solid evidence ) can not reach or achieve the status of a "real" hypothesis. Rare in the scientific, common in the sloppy use of language, both terms are identical.
