World 10K Bangalore
World 10K Bangalore ( official name Sunfeast World 10K Bangalore after Keksmarke Sunfeast the sponsor ITC Limited ) is a folk and road race over 10 km, which takes place in the Indian city of Bangalore since 2008. The event is organized by the company Procam International, which has also launched the Mumbai Marathon and the Delhi Half Marathon in life. With a total prize money of 155,000 U.S. dollars, of which the winner will receive $ 21,000 each, the race is one of the most valuable on this distance world. The program also includes a Majja Run non-timed over 5.7 km and a seniors run and a wheelchair race over 4km.
In 2009, 23,000 runners participated in the event, of which only a small part of who registered with a transponder his time.
