World Championships of Ski Mountaineering
The World Championships of Ski Mountaineering (English World Championships of Skimountaineering, French Championnats du Monde de Ski de Montagne ) are world championships in Wettkampfskibergsteigen.
The official World Cup was first held by the International Council for Ski Mountaineering Competitions ( ICSM ) in the United Nations ' International Year of the Mountains "in 2002.
