World Forum Convention Center

The World Forum Convention Center or short World Forum is a multi-purpose hall in The Hague. In the immediate neighborhood is the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia.

The hall was built as Nederlands Congres Centrum (NCC ) in 1969 by the architect Jacobus Johannes Pieter Oud in the style of the new style. Now under new management the mid-2000s, the hall was renamed. The World Forum congresses, festivals, concerts and conferences. These included the Euro Vision Song Contest (1976 and 1980), North Sea Jazz Festival ( 1976-2005 ), The Hague Jazz (2006-2010), the Conference on Afghanistan (2009) as well as concerts by A- ha, Céline Dion, Sarah Brightman, Queen and others.
