World Information Society Day

The World Telecommunication Day ( en.: World Information Society Day) was proclaimed in 1967 by the International Telecommunication Union and is recognized by the UN as an international day of remembrance. The day finds, based on the founding date of the International Telecommunication Union ITU in 1865, a year on May 17 instead.
