World Port Index

The World Port Index is a worldwide directory of seaports, published by the National Geospatial -Intelligence Agency (NGA ) of the United States.

Included are about 4300 ports in 262 countries and 400 regions. Each port has a unique 5-digit index number. The names of the ports are recorded in English in Latin script without diacritics. In about 70 categories ports and their facilities are briefly described.
