World Scientific

World Scientific Publishing is an academic publisher headquartered in Singapore. It was founded in 1981 and is one of the leading scientific publishers. A particular focus is the Asia -Pacific region.

They publish books and magazines on scientific (especially natural science ), technical and medical field as well as in economics. About 500 books are published every year and the publisher include 125 journals ( including electronic journals ). The publisher has offices in the USA (New Jersey, California ), London, Geneva, China ( Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, Hong Kong ), Taiwan (Taipei ), Sydney and India ( Chennai).

In 1995, she founded the Imperial College London Imperial College Press. Other imprints include Stallion Press, Hindustan Book Agency, Global Publishing and the publisher of the Mathematical Society of Japan.
