Worldcon

The Worldcon ( World Science Fiction Convention ) is one of the World Science Fiction Society ( WSFS ) held annually Assembly. The first Worldcon ( called on the German Worldcon page also "the first Worldcon " ) took place from 2 to 4 July 1939, on the World's Fair in New York. In the two following years, two more Worldcon took place, but the meetings were interrupted during World War II and until 1946 held again.

On the Worldcon, and the coveted Hugo Award is awarded.
