WOW air

WOW air is an Icelandic low-cost airline based in Reykjavík and Keflavík base on the airport.

History

WOW air took 1 June 2012 on the operation. On 23 October 2012 she took over the competitors Iceland Express and integrated it into itself.

In November 2013 WOW air received by the Icelandic Authority Air Operator Certificate and their own is therefore no longer dependent on Wetleasing agreements with other airlines to carry out their flights. At the same time the inclusion of flights to the United States was announced.

Destinations

WOW air flying from their base at the airport at Keflavik from several European city destinations. In addition to Copenhagen, Lyon, Paris, Kaunas, Krakow, Warsaw, Alicante and London, these are with Berlin- Schönefeld, Dusseldorf, Stuttgart, Salzburg and Zurich also several destinations in Germany.
