Wrestling at the 2008 Summer Olympics

At the 2008 Summer Olympic Games in Beijing 18 competitions were held in rings, 4 in the women and 14 for men. Each 7 in freestyle and 7 of the 14 competitions the men were in the Greco-Roman style, the ladies were all competitions held in freestyle.

Qualification

Pro competition was allowed a maximum of go to the start of a starter NOCs. For the NOC had to win quota places at various skill competitions. Main qualifying competition was the 2007 World Championships in Baku, added several continental and intercontinental events came in 2008.
