Wriedel
Wriedel is a municipality in the midst of the Lüneburg Heath in the district of Uelzen, Lower Saxony. The municipality belongs to the Wriedel Samtgemeinde Bevensen - Ebstorf. Wriedel had 2,555 inhabitants in late 2006.

Geographical Location
Wriedel lies in a heathland area with some hills: Westberg ( 105.5 m), Sultberge (102 m ), Ship Mountain (101 m), Pracherberg ( 100 m), Schaper Mountain ( 97.8 m), Gannerberg (89 m), Kolkenberg (99 m), Krahenberg (91.5 m), Kreuzberg in sheep Christensen ( 89.9 m), Osterberg at Brockhöfe (89 m), Kreuzberg at Wriedel ( 85.7 m), Osterberg at Holthusen I ( 86.5 m ), Muhlenberg ( 81.4 m).
Through the municipal area of the flow stream and the Wriedeler Schwienau.
Community structure
The municipality consists of the villages and habitations Arendorf, Arnoldshof, Brambostel, Brockhöfe, station Brockhöfe, breakage, Grenzhof, Heidehof, Holthusen I, forester long Lingen, Lintzel, fire Christensen, settlement Wense, Wettenbostel, Wriedel and Wulfsode.
History
The locations of the community are - documentary evidence - was founded around 1200, Wriedel itself around 1100.
Incorporations
On 1 July 1972, the municipalities Arendorf, Brambostel, Brockhöfe, Holthusen I Lintzel, fire Christensen, Wettenbostel and Wulfsode were incorporated.
Religion
The heath town Wriedel forms the center of two Protestant churches,
- The Evangelical-Lutheran congregation for the Hanover Church with the Suidbert Church
- And the independent Evangelical Lutheran Bethlehem Township, which belongs to the church district of Lower Saxony East of Independent Evangelical Lutheran Church. This uses the Bethlehem Church.

Economy and infrastructure
Merchants and craftsmen, two general practitioners, a dentist, a pharmacy and a discounter (NP ) market are in place.
Garages complete the infrastructure.
Worth mentioning is the watchmaking master workshop and also the gunsmith.
The core is agriculture. Four full courtyards and several subsidiary holdings are in Wriedel.
The local communities are supported by several associations and the local fire departments.
Traffic
Wriedel lies at the intersection of the streets of Celle after Lüneburg and Uelzen Amelinghausen and to Soltau and Bad Fallingbostel. In the district Brockhöfe there is a stopping point on the railway line Uelzen - long fronds. The roads L234 and L250, the main routes to the next places.
Leisure
The sports club TSV Wriedel founded in 1912, has about 700 members, with approximately 50 % are related to young people. There is an outdoor pool with natural clarification without chlorine additives, it is operated by the local club " natural pool Wriedel eV ". A hunting lodge in Brockhöfe and belongs to the local Kyffhaeuser camaraderie Wriedel eV riding and driving club is active around the horse.
