Wright Cyclone series

Wright Cyclone was the name of a series of aircraft engines of the U.S. manufacturer Curtiss- Wright. There were air-cooled radial engines that were built in 4 series with many subtypes and sold in large numbers.

The production of the engine started with the R -1820 E in July 1930. The production ended with the R -3350 EA in August 1962. The total number of produced Cyclone engines amounted to 163 881 units
