Wright State University

The Wright State University ( WSU ) is a state university in Dayton, Ohio. The college was founded in 1964. Currently, 17 074 students are enrolled.

The Wright State University is legally within the city limits of Fairborn, but it has a Dayton address. The police of Fairborn is however responsible for the university. In Fairborn, the Wright - Patterson Air Force Base, an airfield, where the Wright brothers launched their first flight tests lies. After the Wright brothers, this university is named.

This opened in 1962 in Celina College of Western Ohio Educational Foundation since 1969 belongs to Wright State University. On the campus of WSU in Celina, the Lake Campus near the Grand Lake St. Marys, studying about 1,000 students.

The sports teams of the Wright State University are the Raiders. The university is a member of the Horizon League.
