WS-SecureConversation
WS-SecureConversation is a specification from the group of WS -* specifications. It is a specification that defines the generation and distribution of the security context for message -layer encryption. A security context is a shared secret ( shared secret ) available, are signed and encrypted with the messages ( Messages) (see SSL).
The WS-SecureConversation specification provides for the creation of the Security Contexts three different methods:
- Generation by the Security Token Service ( STS)
- Production by one of the communication partners
- Generation by negotiation among the participants
