Wu Hongbo

Wu Hongbo (Chinese吴红波, Pinyin Wú Hongbo; MAY 1952 in Shandong Province ) is a Chinese diplomat who was ambassador from 2009 to 2012 the diplomatic mission of the PRC in Germany and since August 2012 Vice - Secretary General of the United Nations.

After graduating, he worked in Beijing since 1976 for the Beijing Service Bureau for Diplomatic Missions.
