Wu Xianghu

Wu Xianghu (* 1964, † February 2nd 2006 in Taizhou ) was a Chinese journalist and publisher of the Taizhou Evening News ( Taizhou Wanbao ).

On 19 October 2005 published a critical article about Wu, the local traffic police and their methods with traffic charges, after thousands of police officers protesting outside the headquarters of the newspaper. Police officer Li Xiaoguo came for his role in this case of corruption in the Chinese media. Shortly after Wu was beaten up by traffic cops. He died in February 2006, 41 -year-old to his injuries.

No one was held accountable for the incident in Taizhou, about Wu's death not reported Chinese media.
