Wu Xue

Wu Xue ( born March 22, 1980 in Beijing, China ) is a Chinese born table tennis player from the Dominican Republic. 2004 and 2008 she took part in the Olympic Games.

Career

Wu Xue was born in China, went international but at the Dominican Republic. Since 2003, she took (until 2012 ) part in five World Cups, without coming in the near medal ranks. Several titles they won against it in Latin - American Championships. In 2008 she won in all competitions in a single, double with Lian Qian, in mixed with Lin Ju and in the team competition. These first places come 2004, 2007 and 2011 in single and mixed with 2007 Lin Ju.

In 2004 she qualified for the first time to participate in the Olympic Games. She survived the first round against Russian Oksana Fadeeva, but failed after the Japanese Ai Fujinuma. In 2008, she again after qualifying. Here they reached by victories over Stephanie Xu Sang (Australia), Wang Yuegu ( Singapore) and Gao Jun ( USA) the quarter-finals, where they lost to Guo Yue (China).
