Wugu District

Wugu (Chinese五股 区, pinyin Wǔgǔ Qū, PEH oē - jī NGO - kó • • ) is a district of the city of New Taipei City in northern Taiwan, Republic of China.

Location and meaning

Wugu bordered to the north and west by the district of Bali, on the south by the districts Linkou, Taishan, Xinzhuang and Sanchong, and on the east by the district and the districts of Shilin and Luzhou Beitou Taipei City. Wugu is hilly to about two thirds of its landmark is located in the north of the district Guanyin Shan Mountain, which is a popular destination at the same time.

In Wugu Industrial Park New Taipei City, one of the most important industrial districts of Greater Taipei is located. In addition to the Guanyin Mountain of the built 1752 Xiyun Buddhist temple is a center of attraction for visitors.
