Wulingyuan

Is Wǔlíngyuán (Chinese武陵源) a scenic attraction in the Chinese province of Hunan.

The area is known for its high sandstone pillars, some of which rise up to 200 meters into the air. Wulingyuan belongs to Zhangjiajie, a city located about 270 km from the provincial capital Changsha.

Geographical Location: 29 ° 16' -29 ° 24'N, 110 ° 22' -110 ° 41'O.

In 1992 the area was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
