Württemberg Cup

The WFV Cup is the association of the Württemberg Football Association Cup for teams of 3 league Regionalliga Süd (4th league), Oberliga Baden- Württemberg ( 5 league ), Association League Württemberg (6th Division), division Württemberg ( 7 League ), and the District Cup winner. In the knockout system play max. 128 teams from the Cup Winners' Cup, which is then allowed to attend the first round of the DFB Cup in the next game year. The competition was introduced in 1945 as an open cup competition for all teams, from 1950/51 he has been transformed into an amateur cup competition. Record winner is the SSV Ulm 1846.

Since 2011, the trophy is, thanks to the sponsorship of the Bitburger name " Bitburger wfv Cup " brewery.
