Wuwei, Gansu

Wuwei (武威 市) is a prefecture-level city in central China's Gansu province.

The administrative area of the city has an area of ​​33,249 km ² and approximately 1.87 million inhabitants (2003 ).

In Wuwei are the Tiantishan Grottoes, which are on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China.
