WWO

WWO ( inter alia abbreviation of W witrynach odbicia = "The Mirror in the shop window " ) is a Polish hip- hop group from Warsaw.

Band History

The history began in 1996 when the two rappers Jędker and Sokol ( born March 11, 1977 in Warsaw, Poland, Wojciech Sosnowski bourgeois ) took their first recorded stuff to the people. The songs were dubbed onto cassette and then distributed to friends, so that within a very short time the tracks were quickly known in their environment. As Koro and Fu moreover came, it did not start until right at the formation ZIP Sklad. As the opening act of Run DMC, they were known in 1997/98 at a wider audience.

The first officially published plates on which zip Skład was heard (at times with a cast of 10 MCs ), were the Producer Kolabo albums from the unofficial " godfather of polish hip hop" DJ 600 volts. He was also the first album (1999) " chleb powszedni " produced for the most part.

In 2000, WWO was founded and was a project of ZIP Skład. After the release of their first album WWO it came to dispute with her label BMG Poland, so they had to change their name. "W Witrynach odbicia " renamed as "W Wyjątkowych Okolicznościach ". The "new" crew broke up the dispute by their label and took the organizational matters into their own hands. They founded the label Prosto.

The German national football team, Lukas Podolski designated in an interview with the sports newspaper " Piłka nożna " WWO as one of his favorite groups.
