Wychavon

Wychavon is a District in the county of Worcestershire in England whose name dates back to the Anglo-Saxon Kingdom Hwicce. Administrative center is the city of Pershore. Other important towns are Droitwich Spa and Evesham.

The district was formed on 1 April 1974 and evolved from the merger of the boroughs of Droitwich and Evesham, of Evesham Rural District and most of the Rural Districts Droitwich and Pershore.
