Wyganów, West Pomeranian Voivodeship

Wyganowo ( German Kuhhagen ) is a dwelling-place in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship in Poland. It belongs to the Gmina Karlino ( urban and rural community Körlin ) in the powiat Białogardzki ( Belgarder circle).

Geographical location

The living space is located in Eastern Pomerania, about 120 km north-east of Szczecin. About three kilometers south of the village Mierzyn the village is Ubysławice (Alt Marrin ), about 6 km south-east ( Rüwolsdorf ).

History

Already in the year 1305 the first mention as Kohaghen, which probably was a German settlement arisen by Hagen Hufendorf at that time, as well as the near by villages Kordeshagen and Hagen Schulz. Kuhhagen long time belonged to the respective owners of Alt Marrin. This eliminated the 17th or 18th century, the peasant holdings and transformed the place into a farm estate to which was managed as Vorwerk Alt Marrin.

Later, after 1774, with the help of grace Kuhhagen funds from the Prussian king was again extended by attaching two farmers, and two four Kossäthen Büdnern. As part of the regulation of landlord and peasant relations ( see Prussian agrarian ) these eight homesteads but were implemented around the year 1836 after Rüwolsdorf so that Kuhhagen was a pure Gutsbetrieb again.

Kuhhagen was one of the formed in the 19th century Gutsbezirk Alt Marrin. With the dissolution of the estate districts in Prussia this Gutsbezirk was incorporated in 1929 in the rural community Rüwolsdorf. As part of the rural community Rüwolsdorf Kuhhagen belonged until 1945 to the district Kolberg- Körlin in the Prussian province of Pomerania.

In 1945, the place, like all Eastern Pomerania to Poland. The population was replaced by Poland. Kuhhagen has probably received the Polish name Wyganowo, whereby also the name variant Wyganów occurs, to have received the Polish name Wygonowo by Manfred Vollack, however the place.
