Wyre Forest (District)

Wyre Forest is a District in the county of Worcestershire, England. Administrative center is the city of Stourport -on- Severn. Other important towns are Bewdley and Kidderminster.

The district was formed on 1 April 1974 and evolved from the merger of the Municipal Boroughs Bewdley and Kidderminster, the Urban District Stourport -on-Severn and Kidderminster Rural District.
